All three are golden's and all three are seniors in the canine world.
A little history...
I showed in conformation and obedience for a decade and retired my dogs three years ago. Rosie is the mother of Bogie and Ellie. Rosie finished her show career with a UD title in obedience and a blue ribbon for Best Veteran at the age of 10. She is my special girl and is so close to my heart.
The recent challenge is eating. Rosie has decided that food...of the canine sort...is horrid, rancid, putrid...all of the "ids". I cook for her and she enjoys it for a day or two, then becomes bored and refuses. Of course, the other two are sitting patiently as they wait for her leftovers. My youngest, Ellie, is looking more and more like a pot-bellied pig. Sigh.
More to come. Tonight, we had some success with EggBeaters, a quarter piece of bread and some chicken breast strips.
